Protect Yourself
The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recommends:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. - Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
These viruses deteriorate the cells but the antioxidants can prevent this from occurring. The best dietary sources of antioxidants are fruits and vegetables. Doctors recommend eating five or six servings a day of fruit and vegetables. Foods that contain tomatoes like spaghetti sauce, suggests they contain lycopene, which has been shown to be particularly effective at stopping low-density lipoproteins from oxidizing that way are named Antioxidants.
If there is a poor diet in antioxidants can always strengthen your immune system with supplements that provide these nutrients in various presentations such as juices, capsules, teas or powders. These are just a suggestion and advice will help you lead a happier, healthier, and longer life.
